Innovations for Navigating the New Realities of COVID-19 in Long-Term Care

At SRX we are dedicated to leading innovative developments in the long-term care industry. Even in this time of anxiety and uncertainty, we are doing everything in our power to find solutions to the many challenges the industry is facing in ensuring the health and safety of residents, as well as all the healthcare workers who are on the frontlines in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.

As a result of our continued dedication, we are proud to introduce two powerful solutions to keep your facilities performing, connecting, and caring for each of your residents.

Bridge:

Bridge is a new mobile application for LTC facilities to help keep residents, employees, and family members up-to-date on relevant COVID news and other updates. With Bridge, loved ones can simply “opt-in” to receiving communications, and facilities can quickly deliver critical updates. The app can also deliver customized questionnaires via text directly to visitors. Facilities will have the ability to use the questions to pre-screen for a variety of requirements including health indicators, approved visitor status, and more. This empowers you to control communications within the facility as well as dictate who is allowed to enter. These capabilities provide added safety and peace of mind for residents, their loved ones, and facility staff.

Bridge App Overview:
  • Real-time COVID-19 response notifications and alerts sent directly to family members and loved ones.
  • Allows visitors and employees to complete wellness surveys via text prior to contact with residents.
  • Users opt-in via text to receive notifications.
  • Employee communication tools.

Vaccine Direct:

Understanding the necessary importance of preparing for and getting ahead of the 20/21 flu season, SRX is very proud to be teaming up with our partners, Seqirus and GKS, to do just that. Vaccine Direct is an innovative new program dedicated to ensuring that facilities have a sufficient supply of flu vaccinations prior to the CDC-recommended administration deadline in October.

Those who enroll will have access to first priority shipments and wholesale pricing with the stress-free ability to bypass typical supply chain issues. To further ease the process, we will also be allowing existing SRX customers to net payments from rebate distributions for cashless transactions.

We are confident that these valuable new tools will further ease concerns for facilities dealing with the many unprecedented ways in which COVID-19 has affected the way they are caring for their residents. SRX is dedicated to navigating innovative ways to work with industry partners to overcome current challenges.
